Winter days out

The Blue Flag beach and nature reserve are a 10-minute walk away and lovely on a crisp winter morning. Walk the sea wall to Dawlish in about 25 minutes to see the black swans, or take the train from Dawlish Warren, 5 minutes from the villa, to Exeter for the cathedral and shops.
